Course Overview
The Diploma of Project Management (Oil & Gas) is a practical, hands on course delivered in an interactive classroom environment. It is developed to give participants the knowledge and skills not only for Project Management but specifically about successful project delivery in the Oil and Gas industry.
Classes are facilitated by experienced Project Managers, who encourage open discussions to enable the participants to gain real insight into how to apply the theory to their own work place.

Pre-requisites
Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:
- BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice OR
- 5 + years vocational experience in project roles where projects are managed in a variety of contexts.
- Candidates are in project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives.

The Diploma of Project Management (Oil & Gas) comprises of 12 units of competency, outlined below, which are developed in line with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide, 6th Edition), the methodology adopted by both the Project Management Institute and the Australian Institute of Project Management.

Assessment
Following completion of the face-to-face workshop, students are required to complete a portfolio of evidence consisting of theory, practical tasks and a supervisor/manager observational report.
