COURSE OVERVIEW
The BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management is a practical, hands on training course delivered in an interactive classroom environment. The course is designed to give participants the knowledge, skills and tools to become more effective Project Managers.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The course is ideal for the wider Project Team regardless of business or industry sector.
Completion of the course will equip the participant with a working knowledge of effective project management methodology, as well as arming them with the tools and techniques to better understand their role and effectively assist in the delivery of projects.
PRE-REQUISITES
Ability read and write English.
Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:
- BSB41515 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice OR
- 5 + years vocational experience in project roles where projects are managed in a variety of contexts.
- Candidates are in project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives.

The Diploma of Project Management comprises of 12 units of competency which are developed in line with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), the methodology adopted by both the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and the Australian Institute of Project Management.

ASSESSMENT
To assist in the assessment, a copy of the PMBOK® Guide 6th edition will be provided.
Following completion of the face-to-face workshop, students are required to complete a portfolio of evidence consisting of theory and practical tasks.
