The course is designed to give participants the knowledge, skills and tools to become more effective Project Managers. Completion of this course will equip the participant with a working knowledge of effective project management methodology, as well as arming them with the tools and techniques to effectively manage and deliver projects. PRE-REQUISITES Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include: BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice OR 5 + years vocational experience in project roles where projects are managed in a variety of contexts Candidates who are in project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives Units Of Competency The Diploma of Project Management comprises of 12 units of competency which are developed in line with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), the methodology adopted by both the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and the Australian Institute of Project Management.
