COURSE OVERVIEW

The Diploma of Project Management (Oil & Gas) is a practical, hands on course delivered in an interactive classroom environment. It is developed to give participants the knowledge and skills not only for Project Management but specifically about successful project delivery in the Oil and Gas industry.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The course is ideal for practising Project Managers looking to progress in Oil & Gas as well as Project Management professionals looking for a course to help them transition into the Oil & Gas sector.

Completion of the course will equip the participant with a working knowledge of effective project management methodology, as well as arming them with the tools and techniques to better understand their role and effectively assist in the delivery of projects.

PRE-REQUISITES

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:

  • BSB41515 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice OR
  • 5 + years vocational experience in project roles where projects are managed in a variety of contexts.
  • Candidates are in project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives.

Following completion of the face-to-face workshop, students are required to complete a portfolio of evidence consisting of theory and practical tasks.
